We’re excited you’re interested in joining Waukesha Makerspace. Becoming a member is a straightforward process designed to help you get familiar with the space, meet our community, and start making safely and confidently. Since we are entirely volunteer-run, courtesy and follow-through are important and appreciated.
Start by selecting the membership tier that best fits your needs. While general memberships are currently free, it’s important to understand that free memberships do not help cover rent, utilities, tool maintenance, or supplies.
Most members choose an unlimited paid membership, which directly supports the makerspace and helps keep the doors open and the tools running.

Once you’ve chosen a membership tier, complete the online application here: Online Membership Application
After submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation email containing an orientation code. This code is required to sign up for an orientation.
Using the orientation code from your confirmation email, visit Events Calendar
Select an orientation date and time that works for you and register using your code.
Important: orientations are run by volunteers who generously give their time. If you sign up and later find you cannot attend, please cancel your registration or notify us in advance so the spot can be made available to someone else.

While waiting for your orientation, please review the following documents. You will be required to acknowledge them during orientation:
You will complete the liability waiver during orientation and must bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
After completing your orientation, you are officially a member and may begin using the space, attending events, and collaborating with other makers, subject to any required tool training.
